Ryobi melt and use about 1000 tonnes of aluminium alloy per month.

Some products are machined and assembled. We maintain a scheduled stock of assembly components for approved suppliers.

We maintain electronic links with our customers, and provide a production plan, which is based predominantly on Kanban systems.

What Makes RYOBI Different

Our Die Casting Machines operate using one of Ryobi’s patented processes, the Ryobi Shut Valve (RSV).  This vacuum assisted process allows for higher productivity, higher dimensional accuracy, reduced porosity and better surface finish.  We can also introduce other specialised casting methods such as high speed, high vacuum casting for structural parts, or loose core or sandcore technologies - to create under-cut areas and even enclosed spaces in castings.

Ryobi has full engineering capabilities,  including R&D, Product Design and Process Engineering.

In addition Japanese engineers work closely with their local collegues in almost every department in the organisation, ensuring constant cooperation with Ryobi Limited (Japan) our parent company.

Our engineers employ the latest CAD and CAE methods.

This ensures the most effective design of tools and processes as well as components.

A large percentage of the final product quality is determined in the die design and die making phases.  Ryobi therefore has a competitive advantage by having our own die design and die making facilities in Japan.  Ryobi Limited (Japan) produces 60-70 dies per month, thus providing nearly all tools for Ryobi susidiaries worldwide.
