In April a group of students from Ulster University Jordanstown visited Ryobi. The visit was hosted by Graham Coulter, HSE Manager, who gave a presentation about the company, followed by a plant tour, with assistance from Steven Tait, HSE Officer.
The students were particularly interested in finding out about the design process within Ryobi as they are currently studying a module called Design and Industry 2 which aims to show students how manufacturing processes and design are integrated in the commercial world.
Ryobi would be delighted to facilitate similar visits from other educational establishments. Please contact the Human Resources team for further details.
