25 delegates joined the Northern Ireland Chamber of Commerce (NI Chamber) at Ryobi Aluminium Castings yesterday (27 March 2019) at the Danske Bank Export First Exporter Forum. This event included a tour of the Ryobi facility in Carrickfergus and a chance for members of NI Chamber to hear the successful export story with sales forecasted at £100m by 2019 from Managing Director, David Watson.
From establishing a local presence in 1990 with one customer and a small workforce; Ryobi is one of Northern Ireland’s leading exporters and employers, supplying car industry giants including Jaguar Land Rover, Peugeot Citroen, Ford, Volkswagen and Skoda and employing over 500 people.
